Aims & Objectives
Abbott Nutrition wanted to launch a new learning management system (LMS) to manage learning, development, and upskilling of all employees across their EURISA region.
The aim was to provide each country with their own version of the LMS with pre-populated learning activities and pathways. Abbott also required the ability for each country to fully customise their LMS content to suit their specific requirements, including translating the front-end of the LMS and content into their own languages.
Implementation
dreamm’s LMS atmos was selected for creating the Connect Sales Academy (CSA) LMS, which was customised to meet the needs of each country.
dreamm worked closely with the Abbott Nutrition project team and local Country Administrators to ensure that CSA was developed with all needs and requirements taken into consideration. The implementation of CSA's features was phased to allow the country teams adequate opportunity to review, test, and provide feedback against the specifications.
Outcomes
Since the rollout of the Connect Sales Academy (CSA), there has been great feedback from learners and administrators across multiple countries, with comments on the usefulness of both the learning and visibility of their training progress. CSA has enabled each country to have a bespoke version of the LMS with pre-populated learning activities and pathways, but also with the ability to fully customise their learner’s experience to suit their specific requirements.
CSA was deployed with the following functionality:
- provide up to date information to help during discussions with learners
- update ULRs knowledge about various learning opportunities
- develop individual action plans with learners
- keep records of sessions with learners
- allow unions to maintain their own versions of the Climbing Frame
