Aims & Objectives
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting lockdowns across the world, Gilead Sciences wanted to create an e-learning module to help their employees work from home more effectively and safely.
- The objectives of the module were to:
- Provide guidance on creating an ergonomic workspace
- Encourage regular breaks and exercise
- Promote mental health and stress reduction techniques
- Give tips for managing communication and collaboration with remote teams
Implementation
To meet the diverse needs of Gilead Sciences' global workforce, the e-learning module was developed in multiple languages including Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish, Russian, English, Japanese, Korean, Chinese Simplified, and Chinese Traditional.
The module was designed to be interactive and engaging, with videos, animations, quizzes, and assessments to reinforce learning. The content was tailored to the specific needs and challenges of working from home, with practical tips and advice for creating a comfortable and productive workspace, managing time and distractions, and maintaining a work-life balance.
Gilead Sciences worked closely with dreamm’s development team to ensure the content was accurate and aligned with the company's values and policies. The e-learning module was also piloted internally before it was rolled out globally to ensure that it was effective and user-friendly.
